Frank Catalanotto and Buddy Biancalana join Mark and AJ to talk about their respective books,Frank Catalanotto Nicknamed "Little Cat", is a Long Island native In his career, Catalanotto has played all infield and outfield positions except shortstop and center field.Catalanotto began his professional baseball career in 1992 when the Detroit Tigers—who first noticed him while scouting higher-profile players at a Smithtown East baseball game in 1991—drafted him in the tenth round of the 1992 Major League Baseball Draft. Primarily a second baseman in the minors, he made his major league debut at second base on September 3, 1997. Buddy Biancalana played for two teams in his career: the Kansas City Royals (1982–1987) and Houston Astros (1987). He attended Redwood High School in Larkspur and was drafted by the Royals in the first round (25th overall pick) of the 1978 June Regular Phase draft.Biancalana was a member of the Royals team that won the World Series in 1985
Biancalana was the starting shortstop for the Royals in all 14 post-season games, playing error-free defense in every game, and was an integral part in several run-scoring innings for the Royals in the World Series, He batted .278 in the series with an on base percentage of .435, both well above his career numbers.
