Kevin Kernan  was a NY  Post writer from 1981-88 and  returned in 1997, he has been covering baseball since 1999. He also covered the Knicks, Nets, Giants, college basketball and boxing. An author of five books,including his Latest Girardi, he’s won the Excellence in Journalism Award presented by the New Jersey Sportswriters Association.
